Heed The Wizard's Warnings - Burnout mitigation strategies & observability advice for Yourself-as-a-Service
by Dan Bourke | - 2:30pm
Burnout is complex and multi-causal, and easier to prevent than to fix after the fact. This talk will cover some useful models of burnout, your self, and the world, and try to leverage them into something you can use - to avoid burnout, or start recovering if it’s too late to dodge. There’s some practical metrics you could put on a dashboard, and some stories about what it feels like to be a neural network with backpropagation set to 11.
This is a serious topic and will cover some things that could be distressing, but it will be presented by someone dressed like a wizard. Please calibrate your expectations accordingly.
